oops bought warez by mistake

I bought a copy of spam inspector from a market, now it turns out that it was supplied with a pirate key. I found out because I updated it from the website, and immediately, a whacking great big anti-piracy box came up, threatening all kinds of things, saying they'd sent all my computer details to the anti-pirate guys! My computer shut down, and when I rebooted they'd changed my IE home page to the US anti-piracy site!

Shame for them that I don't live in the US innit

Anyway, I bought a new key from them, it doesn't cost much, but now I'm wondering if they'll still blacklist me, because its not letting me re-register like it should! I hope so, because its actually a nice piece of software.

Oh well, I guess the lesson is, don't buy software from markets.

I normally avoid warez like the plague, the other day I borrowed a DVD of Blade II from a relative, it looked perfectly kosher, the box and printing, but when it played it was terrible quality, I couldn't see more than the first 15 minutes, I'd have been kicking myself if I'd paid for it.

yeah, most pirated stuff sucks ass...

like i saw spederman at a friends house, not only did it have "for somthing purposes only" writen on the top

but the lip sync was out and the picture was crappy.

all depends on the source...
but theres not much point in paying for warez, if your going to do it do it for free
