Ive just been to a budget roll-out type thing at work.

Turns out that this horrid refinery makes (on an average day) approx $2.2mill a day. Against that it costs approx $650k a day to run. Doing the maths, thats about (taking lost sheduled downtime into account, but not unit crashes) $532mill profit.

Hmmm, nice.

Heh, I can see our flare about 5 miles from work, so if its VERY large, I turn round and go home (large flare ====> big trouble)
