I won't be getting this one. Technically, very good but as bigbb says, boring as my arse. I know it was supposed to be a return to Doom, who needs a plot, shoot 'em up type fun, but y'know.... we've moved on.

Nah the games are fun. A good old fashioned no brainer blast with the emphasis on fun and humour. Unlike RtCW which was just an old fashioned no brainer so unfunny and uninvolving it was painful.

Heh heh. The only games without plots I've enjoyed are Carmageddon II and various flight sims. I played Doom loads on a mates PC back in the day, but only because it was the only game of its type I had ever seen.

Anyway, all I'm really saying is that Serious Sam didn't cut the mustard for me.
