is there any info on general armour drops to be had? or weapon drops? Places to go for things like that?

I have a level 25 druid and with the exception of some dark guardian scale stuff I haven't gotten much in the way of armour drops at all.

I was however, lucky enough to snaffle a mineralised ring from a walking rock the other day.

I was wondering if anyone knows any good spots for things like that?

I.E. Moher - Gales - If you keep killing gales on the right (heading away from the guard tower) of the road eventually one will drop a mariners ring (lvl 17 bonuses to quickness and con I think)

General drops are best got from dungeons. At your level I'd say get a good group into the upper levels of Treibh Cailte or the Sprag Pit. The Rock Golems drop good weaponry, arachnids drop cloth and staves, Ursines drop just about anything. Also in Moher, you could do foggies who also drop gear. In fact I feel that if you kill anything for long enough they are bound to drop stuff.

Tbh, I didn't get many drops till I started going to Corus. I was wearing enchanted player-made armor. Now after a few weeks of Corus, Lough Gur and recently CF and Sheeroe, all my armor is yellow-red (AF36-49), I got two good staffs, orange jewelry and rings.

And the one-time drops are good gear... done all the ones that are suitable for a mage.

yeah I did Sprag pit - we got right the way into the pit slapped some stuff about for a while and then came back out again.

What level is Treib Caite for?

Upper twenties to low thirties I'd say. As a healer, it doesn't matter that much for you, it's mainly tanks it matters for.

Once you hit low thirties Coruscating Mine is the place to go, the drops/exp are better, there are less agro wandering mobs and you level like a bastard in there (did 3 levels in consecutive days). Once you get into the pit there, you will start getting lvl47-9 gear.

Some of those OTD'S are no longer available without a quest. I am not sure about all, but "Eugon" is part of a quest for sure now (Magics Scar). As far as I have heard the reward stays the same as if you got the drop, only that you need to do the quest around it.

Yes, use http://daoc.warcry.com to check all the quests, and the rewards. Good source for items as well.
