Healer - Move self dmg add buff to non specced AUG line PLEASE.
Hunter - Evade III.
Runemaster - Remove Group Fend (see below) and give them PBAOE.
Shadowblade - 10min Sprint buff.
Shaman - Something, anything....
Skald - Perfect.
Spiritmaster - Remove fend line from RM supp and give to SM.
Thane - Add a 'Do you really want to do this?' dialog to Mjollinir.
Warrior - Add a shed load of resists to make life in the frontier bearable.

edit: not all but at least 80 % of them =().. guys you have a single bolt you can cast PLZ PLZ use this one in large battles when you see many many albs/hibs standin there and watchin as time goes by ^^

every battle i've been to (not that many) but no one esp thanes broke mezz

mjollnir IS useful and has a nice animation *g*

but the thing is you dont kill much with only castin mjollnirs on even con players that run back and get healed...

and a shame is that i never have seen a squad of 8 thanes castin mjollnirs SIMULTANIOUSLY (f*** the spelling) ... that would be ownage in his purest form =)

thus my chars are weak lowbies i just talk about my small amount of rvr experience in emain and 1 day bgs now...

Actually the two best things would be to make the single hit spell non timer and mjollinir on the 20 sec timer... Or make mjoll like all the freaking spells I get hit with in rvr which don't break mezz.

Another interesting suggestion was to put a stun on mjollinir which would fit. maybe just a diminishing 5 second one... but it would allow us to use if for more than keep defence.....

Naah you just have to know when to use it ;-)

Iwas on the wall in the gap between the pokey up bits during a relic defence raining mjollinir down on the hippies at the gate doing up to 15 hits of between 50 and 200 every 4 seconds... only problem was the archers finally noticing me and every time I backed off I fell through the wall and took mondo fall damage (although I didn't stay in the wall I walked into the courtyard and started begging a heal to go back ;-)

Will be useful now that damage spells can hit keep gates too ;-)

As for it's use in battle, it is very useful, stand back a bit and wait for the tanks to engage tehn start dropping the hammers like crasy to soften up their opponents, just don't use it before the tanks get there, that is the key.

Many thanes cry over this but Mythic doesn't even notice.
Once again: Remove the fu..... timer of Thors Bolt put it in the aoe... And while we are here Fix the damn lvl 50 buff ffs ppl have been complaining ages for that.
But no every time thanes complain about their class needs to be changed to be more effective everyone screams saying we are already rvr uber gods and we don't need anything...

Sorry but my idea of rvr is not casting one spell every 30 sec then sulking in the corner. You already know that thanes dont last long in melee because chain and shield spec are the only things distinguishing us from sbs and hunters(same hits at 50, and maybe a dwarf hunter could have more hits than a norse thane)

Err...I see the old Hammer argument still rages. All I can say is this...

For small (and I mean irrelevant) skirmishes which a lot of people seem to enjoy in Emain we aint the best class. I dont travel there much because of all the anti-thane whinging that goes on (predominantly by those classes without an AE damage spell I might add - funny that, aint it). By irrelevant I mean without purpose - i.e. a jaunt to earn rp without any strategic benefit to the realm of Midgard. OK so its fun to fly around in FG's ganking the opposition with mezz and stun. But as soon as you come across a significantly bigger force its a quick horsetrip from Huginfell on the cards (Maybe the medallion merchant at Svasud should sell season tickets). Some of us attach more importance to more serious issues than what realm rank we are...

If a relic or even standard keep needs defending which are the most imortant classes Midgard possess? (I include Runies here btw). One minute Thanes are the villains of the peace (err - maybe the wrong turn of phrase there) and the next the heros of the hour.

Lets look at an aspect which may give a clue as to the kind of people who choose to train in this class:

The majority of competent ram operaters in Midgard are Thanes (and thanks for taking over at the 2nd door of Excal yesterday Ruath). Is this a co-incidence? Norvindus, Xandax, Diadan, myself, Ruathian to name but a few. Rei and Barbar (not thanes) are always willing as well. But it does give an inkling as to where we put our priorities. We put the achievement of an important objective for the benefit of everyone else (i.e relics and keep-taking/defending) before any personal regard for realm points. You will find most of us carry a healthy back up of siege parts in readiness for any eventuality bought at our own expense.

Do you fit the above character profile??? Or are you just the "tag along" type who is always on the look out for rp, the first to critisise the occasional hammer toss in some trivial battle but have the inability or unwillingness to take control of a situtaion when the chips are down like the people mentioned above do?

When I am planning a relic raid who are the first people I have to consider a pre-requisite if the operation has any chance of success? Good siege peeps - most of whom by some strange coincidence happen to be Thor's own boys.

Now for God's Sake stop going on about Mjol casting. AE casters are invariably the people who save the day at relic and keep defence and are in the main a damn fine bunch of people - among the finest in Midgard. You have a hell of a lot more to thank them for than to castigate them for. And the anti-Mjol flaming has gone on way too long and is becoming downright pathetic.

If someone in Emain tosses hammers out of inexperience or because he isnt in your cg and doesnt know whats planned, instead of tearing him a new arsehole via /y (which some of you seem to enjoy), get up off you fat lazy arses and take 15 minutes out from your realm rank questing to teach him the basics of what is expected in given situations and the problem is solved. Or invite him into your cg so he knows what the hell is going on to start with. Thats called initiative..question is, do any of you possess any?

No please. Dam buff is for fighters and crazy clerics. Doesnt help dr00ds at all to have free dam buff, they are still heal/buffbots.

To improve Healers, move speed buff to non specced aug. And while we are at it, reduce timer on Instas to 5 min like cleric pbae mezz.

Thane - Add a 'Do you really want to do this?' dialog to Mjollinir.

Add another dialog after that asking: "Really really?"

i remember myself pressing a lot of 6 (macro /arm) and 7 (macro /fire) at the second door too, and im NOT a thane.

were all three rams bugged? as far as i could see, the left one was working all the time, i was working the right one, but the middle one was standing still for some time.
