One of the most Underrated reggae artists

This chap altho preatty well known by some, is imo,
one of the most underrated there is: Known and listen to him personally alot having grown up in africa, but seldom see or here about him here in dk at least, for me he ranks at the very top with marley and freinds.

I have never liked Reggae and I can't stand Bob Marley (apart from Redemption Song which is outstanding) but I am starting to like the really dark stuff, the stuff with really deep beats and low tunes but I can never find anyone who does it after hearing it (usually when half asleep or drunk).

I'm with Trem. I like most forms of music but reggae bores the shit out of me. It's the reggae beat prolly - very little musical variation. Or maybe not that - just too many similarities...

So I heard an album years ago... the reggae started the track with something like "London, where the streets are paved with gold". I never did figure out what the artist was called, but it was reggae. Any ideas?
