India and Pakistan insurgents stirring up stuff in kashmir again..

still ongoing stuff in Afghanistan and Iraq..

and now North Korea threatening a new war if sanctions not lifted..

something gonna kick off bigstyle in Asia, and im rather scared of what the consequences would be for everyone.

If you spend your time worrying about things you can't change you spend your remaining life in fear. If you forget about it and think fuck it, what will be will be you'll look back and think yeah..I had a good time.

I spent the past week viewing the events in the Middle East with growing concern.
The recent attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah against Israel,(with the active political, financial and military support of Iran and Syria) are just the latest acts in this war. It is a war that pits the civilization and the rule of law against the dictatorships of Iran and Syria and the terrorist groups of Hezbollah and Hamas that they support. It is also a war that pits civilized nations against Islamic terrorist groups around the world, most significantly , the al Qaeda network.
We all know the "Global War on Terror". Yet, I believe this label fails to capture the nature and scale of the threat faced by civilization.

I believe the deadly attacks that have recently been carried out across the globe and the plots of mass murder that have been uncovered recently, reflect a scale of challenge much larger than we currently recognize.

The Iran-Syrian-Hezbollah-Hamas Terrorist Alliance

It is necessary to connect the dots to understand the scale of the challenge we face. These are not isolated events: these attackers and plotters are connected in their ultimate aim to destroy the values of freedom, security and religious liberty that sustain civilization in the modern age.

Here's a list of the attacks, provocative acts and uncovered plots that have occurred in just the past seven weeks:

* An Iran-Syrian-Hezbollah-Hamas terrorist alliance is waging war against Israel in both southern Lebanon and Gaza. Hezbollah has launched more than 1,000 rockets into northern Israel in the past few days alone.

* Seven bombings in Mumbai, India, killed more than 200 people.

* North Korea, which is in public contact with Iran, launched seven missiles, including an intercontinental ballistic missile capable of hitting the West coast of the continental United States, in deliberate contempt of repeated warnings from the American and Japanese governments and the United Nations Security Council.

* Seven Americans were seen on video tape in Miami pledging allegiance to al Qaeda.

* A plot to bomb New York City subways and tunnels was discovered.

* Eighteen Canadians, plotting terror, were arrested with twice the explosive force used in the Oklahoma City bombing and a plan to blow up the Canadian parliament.

* The British government reported that it has uncovered more than 20 "major conspiracies" by Islamic terrorists, and as many as 1,200 potential terrorists now live in the United Kingdom.

This is only a recent list. It is in addition to the deadly bombings we witness on an almost daily basis in Baghdad, and previous attacks in New York, Washington, London, Madrid, Bali, Beslan, Jerusalem, Istanbul, Sharm-el-Sheikh, New Delhi, Amman and many other cities.

What Can We Do?

Take the time to make these points to your friends and neighbors who may not yet recognize the nature and scale of this war :

1. Everyone must come to recognize that we are in a world war that pits civilization against terrorists and their state sponsors who wish to impose a new dark age -- with them in charge. Everything our leaders do must be judged by whether it helps or hurts us in defeating terrorists and their state sponsors.
2. Connect the Dots, Then Connect Them Again: We must emphasize that the deadly attacks and threats of destruction we see worldwide are connected.
3. Stand and Deliver: We must take every possible opportunity to engage in arguments and efforts that educate people about the nature of the war and the enormous challenge it will be to defeat terrorists and their state sponsors.

Many things in this Third World War will be very hard. When there have been more than 800 suicide bombers in Iraq alone and several thousand over the last decade worldwide, there is a serious crisis of civilization.

Your Friend,

Joor

WWIII won't kick off I feel for quite a few years, I predict it will start with Brittish civil war, if the government(s) carry on like this we will end up in civil war and when one of the super powers can't keep it's people under the thumb, then all hell will break loose everywhere, especially the middle-east wanting revenge on us when we can't fight back so much. All countries are like a big pressure cooker, if it doesn't get vented (social change to opposite wing) then it goes bang :p

and there we have it a completely unbiased and "factual" report from our favorite resident conspiracy theorist Mr Joor
You sir, are a moron who spreads as much bulls*** as the a**holes you call "terrorists".
Try actually researching a whole story rather than picking points that support your argument and giving half truth's

Fact: Pakistan is currently removing terrorist cells within its borders and succesfully removed several main terrorist leaders and roughly 700 al-quaeda militants in the last 3 years alone. They also did not do this under foreign pressure, they did it of their own accord which the media tend to "forget" as it doesnt sell as many papers as "Pakistan home for terrorists". It is on the border of one of the worlds largest exporters of terrorism, Afghanistan which is the ideal breeding ground due ot various factors i wont go into now, but are mostly foreign intervention.

Fact: India and pakistan created and enforced a anti-terrorism act in aims to eliminate terrorist cells withing the borders of Kashmir.

Fact: For the last 15 years india has had on-going operations to remove terrorist organisations within its borders, once again this was done at no foreing intervention it is going on anyway, only difference being the media once again dont acknowledge it

Everyone seems to forget that his has been going on for 5+ years, ever since Britain decided to give israel land that they had no claim to.
The only reason this has escalated more rescently is because the are yanks want control of Syrian oil reserves (ironically the only 2nd stable oil supply out the middle east), and under the Bush adminstration is able to.

What can we do to make a difference? Make sure Tony Blair isnt elected next election

Edited to remove swearing :p sorry ><

A lot of that is totally irrelevent Joor and unneeded.

It's as simple as advoiding a WWIII at all costs. With such power and technology now a days, it is suicide for a country to declare war on another, well, pretty much suicide on all sides.

Update.
I just read on cnn that Israel has now the opportunity to began to physically move troops into southern Lebanon. And Israel is reporting that Iran and Syria are the manufacturers of weapons used by Hezbollah and Hamas in strikes on Israeli targets furthering Israel's case for a war on those two countries.

One of the major pursposes of all of these attacks and saber rattling is to distract the populations of Israel and US.
This really is the build-up to the "October surprise." This will probably be some kind of limited strike on Iran and then Israel is going to spearhead a plan break up Iraq in to three or four parts using the US military.
This is their own admission(Israel's own documents going back to the early 1980's and the Pentagon's own documents.), they want to break up Syria into three parts, break up Iran into as many as six to eight parts, break Afghanistan into four parts, and that they even want to break Egypt into two parts.

So this is the official plan and they execute it by undertaking these provocations.
Every few months Israeli soldiers get killed or get captured sometimes every day in the midst of the violence, they have going with the Palestinians. Right now they're just hyping this and turning this into a big deal.

When the Israelis drop a thousand pound bomb on a neighborhood and kill 65 people at a pop, its loving and sweet and good because those are "sub-human Arabs" (or so the Media portrays) but when a suicide bomber blows themselves up (the few times its real and not a Mossad or Shin Bet operation, and by the way Israeli newspapers admit that their government is creating fake Al Qaeda groups, Hamas groups, others), then we hear stories about the evil terrorists, the greatest evil in the world and I just refuse to be a part of this propaganda any longer.

An American president once told one of his Communication advisors to look at the whole board.

Although the situation looks bad, Syria or Iran will never destroy Israel because they need to have the common enemy. Their only part in this war is rhetoric.
Israel knows this. This way this cleans out some of Hezbollah, but destroying a group in a short campaign is impossible so that won't happen.
It's just an opportunity for PM Olmert to flex his muscle, show he's as tough as Sharon and to get the idea out of peoples heads that Israel is weakening because of withdrawing from some settlements.

It's like the cold war, no one really wants to start a full scale war because that would end in mutual destruction.

gotta agree with joor, there's deffo an underlying current to all this.
(im guessing joor is muslim? aint sure.. but)

i dont hate other people for their religion, most muslims dont, i say most.. coz its the odd few nutters giving islam a bad name. same everywhere i guess.

but this is getting scary now, just heard the conversation between bush and blair at g8 on TV.. they kinda got attitude of.. we know.. screw the rest of them.. sorted!

as for nobody wanting another war, this aint USA v USSR.. a total global war.. only takes a moodshift by an unstable leader to do damage.. be it bush , blair, iran's president, israel's, n.korea's..

problem wont go away by itself, so who gonna solve it?

One line I do think suits the current state of affairs was stated by Einstein.

"I don't know how world war 3 will be fought, but world war 4 will be fought with sticks and stones."

in a way it was. only reason no shots were fired (that we ever heard of anyway) was that both Soviet and america had nukes....

and concidering how FUCKING close we actually WERE at getting a nuke war when soviet started planting nukes in cuba (about 5 minutes away from america starting to take actions against it i think) this "problem" sounds pretty damn secondary imo :)
