Yes I've heard it's utter shite, Gerry Anderson walked off the set early on calling the whole thing a fiasco.

Captain Scarlet is currently being redone as a CGI animated series for TV.
The trailer for it is somewhere on the BBC's website. Does look like they've done a nice job on it.

Duhdalada dadadun duhdalada dadadun dun dun chih chih bom bom.

The nerds are getting restless, a huge movement of comicbook fans is turning on Hollywood for pushing out shite Superhero films.

Really Holywood are the last people who should do these movies.
Better to have a group of enthusiasts with uber CGI skills........well actually they probably do have such guys involved, but then they go and say, here's the 'suitable for everyone' plot and this is the totally unsuitable heart throb of the week for the lead role....oh and his annoying sidekick for comic relief.

Anyone remember Judge Dredd?

judge dredd was from 2000 ad comic and they already did a movie of that with sly stallone in it. and captain scarlet movie would be cool but the mysterons used to scare me when i was a kid lol, and stingray was ok but that bloody mute girl marina used to annoy the hell out of me.
dont know if anyone used to read "preacher" comic but that was excellant would make a bloody good film/series as long as they didnt dumb it down or censor it.

It surely has been a sad time for comic fans with hollywoods complete shafting of all their best characters.

Recent movies of comic book hero's turned shite
Batman 4
Catwoman (the matrix with Halle Berry. The previews i've seen only make it worse)
Spiderman 1 (some bits were shit, let down the film)
Juge Dredd (stallon's, not the recent british films)
Daredevil (like i need to explain. Jennifer Garner in tight leather was the only high point)
The Hulk (Yeah, like i need to explain why).
The early spiderman films come close, but only because of the ham acting.
The Phantom (I could waste your time explaining why, just watch and you'll see why).
There is probobly others, but those come to mind.

LOL I was at a course in work and the lecturer (bit of a pisshead) said he could do a great impersonation of Marina from Stingray, I 'm like er?

So and the end of the day he lays across a desk and starts swimming like she did, moving his legs up and down perfectly straight from the hip, same with the arms and turning his head side to side as well

Nearly pissed me pants

That's a good one for a party.
