I seem to vaguely remember back in the good ole days we conducted some sort of invasion of the jolt forums. Can anybody else remember this and why we did it?

ooh aye, that was a good night eh Wij in fact, fellow forumites, the posting spree that was the night of Wij and TdC shagging teh Jolt forum was something to be held in sheer awe by all.

They knew who we were and they laughed at us, then they swore at us, then they simply begged us to stop (just like you would, were you to ever meet Wij and myself in a darkened alleyway down by the docks ).

It was a spam invasion, the rest of us tried to help, but we could not compete with Wij and Teeds coffee fuelled madness.

Yeah when I did the search for yours and wijs user names I was very surprised at how few results I got. Have not tried for Tugs yet, that may get more joy. IIRC it was not just the one spam attack, the one I found came just before GAME bought out BW, and we were all looking for a new home.

I remember we had a vote versus some American PC magazine (PC Max?) to challenge another magazine team at Quake, we started invading each others forums on that one.
