Oldest Guild?

Just read that birthday thread and was wondering, which guild is the oldest in albion? I believe it'd be Dragon Knights, who were formed slightly before guardians of light in beta, anyone around that can say they were in a guild before then that is still running now?

thought dk was formed around july time, though i could be wrong, and possible its the same name repeated, or the original dk got back together or something

I would say my former superior guild Dark Prophecy as one of the oldest. If im correct in what im saying, Dark Prophecy was founded day 1.

Ive no idea about guilds from beta, but after release GoL was first guild in Albion to be formed.

First on server was Celtic Fist.

GoL was 2nd guild formed on server about 3 minutes after Celticfist and we been around since closed beta

As far as i can remember from beta, all the first sets of guilds went to Pry, apart from DK, GoL, and DvE

Hej that ain't fair, Defectu Virium was reformed about a month later (Defectu Virium Elite), because our guildcloak was fucked up . Think we were about 9th guild formed in retail. We were around in open beta too, just very small back then . As long as I can remember, Guardians of Light was allways there. Still have a screenshot somewhere when we had our first succesive keepraid in beta (Thrinnor was da man), GoL zerged in those days too .

they didn't last long...most members went to a guild that could afford an emblem

bah at least it gave me the chance to meet some nice people by joining DVE
