first of all me for lvling another toon old scholl style as i have no power lvling tools anymore
Just thought it be handy getting some advice from you experienced playersabout:

Weapons for different lvls of shade ie drops from mobs in our realms zones.
Excludeing the obviosu sheat merchant ones and Catacombs bought aurulite ones..

Armour? same criteria

Xp items? drops? such as the gems that come from near dragon.

quests 40+ that you know to give good xp and wether they are doable at certain lvls...

I could check websites for this info but my time is limited and its easier to get some feed back from players who have done or have knowlege.

XP items wise, i can only remember of the sheerie ones i gave yer, the guards in bog of cullen drop something for lvls 43-45, and grogans drop pastry puffs for around lvl 48ish.

Quests, i dont know specifics apart from lost seed for around lvl 47 in SI, but catacombs has LOADS of lvl 40s quests, goto underground forest etc and have a loko around, also look em up on allakhazam yer lazy sod.

weapon/armour wise, just use the aurulite ones, or peruse ME for cheap stuff, once you get to lvl 46ish start looking at working on your end game template.

if you wern't alrdy over lvl 40, i coulda recommended some drops here n there around old world/catacombs etc, but really there isnt any point at your lvl trying for special drops etc unless its for end game template.

bears near ailine drop pelts wich can be turned in for xp at L40-something for xp. Also the commanders/lieutenants etc standing around the realm give quests that are quite easy, and gives great xp (example beeing: run to dockmaster near dun crauchon and give him a note, was a L49 one as far as i remember )

For weapons and armour check out some of the old hib quests, most give mps and some have procs too. You might be better off with drops off cata instances though. Crafted is worth considering if you have a lowbie weaponsmith,SC'er and alchy. I remember there being a nice knife from DF that gave ablative procs which is nice for a pve shade, though that probably requires help to obtain. Once upon a time, back when I thought void was a really stong spec, people used to use gemclicker claw, first easy to get piercer with a dot proc. Drops off gemclickers in corus mines if memory serves.

Armour, buy or craft something, drops suck for qual and quests take too much time to put a full set together. Just buy lvl51 99s, enough get produced by people trying for MPS that they should be cheap.

Quests, forget all the old lands quests and forget SI with the exception of pally necklace quest, they are all a waste of time for the reward, esp as a shade. Do everything from DR (epic,weapon,royal expeditions) as soon as you feel capable for the best exp boost, and all cata quests are ok for the exp once you hit 40+. TOA quests are ok exp but time consuming, check the rewards first.

One small thing id mention is, if possible get as much cata dropped stuff with the pve only bonuses as possible (10% evade, +3 style reduction cost, 10% reactionary dmg bonus etc).
