Thanks for the (not-so) kind messages about my impending old-age although to most people 36 probably IS old age but im still only 21... just with another years experience... honest
Nate: You're right im close to Skar-age but that still doesnt bother me and NO, I don't plan on beign dead soon so can still annoy the crap out of you on vent <evil grin>
Starwind: Old peoples home or not, i'm still preening my magnificent beardage with the odd bit of deathblow-carpet-bombing too.
Amphrax: 36 not 39 but the only numbers i seem to remember when you talk is 10-2 to me *whistles*
Ixoth: hmm this walking stick will be handy to beat you young whippersnappers round 'side of t'ead with - very handy hehe
Ljuva & Cadelin: hmm I think i'll only worry when i cant actually remember HOW many zero's lol

Oh and finally Vav: Most of my spare time that im not RvR'ing with SC im spending finishing my second "Summer Group" movie. I'm pretty pleased with it so far and just working on the outro and a few bits of spit and polish here and there but hopefully it will be well received as im enjoying making this one more than the first but its taken quite a lot longer with more fights, more humour and more editing

Can't wait your movie blue m8. You mentioned during last DR, that you save uncompressed the video in the editor for later to be compressed using virtualdub. To what format you compress the final video then? mpeg-4 format? I've tried to find a good quality wise format, with no need for end user to download a codec to be able to see and listen the video.. I have had some success.

Well Ix I usually export from Premiere Pro2 with Microsoft AVI, uncompressed, 800x600 and also uncompressed audio. Then from virtual dub I compress with xvid codec (2pass using 1200kbps bitrate) video and lame mp3 audio (44100hz, 128kbps, CBR stereo). I tried using ABR for audio but had some sync'ing issues so although CBR is a tiny bit bigger file size its worth it. I'm no expert on this but these are the setting that work for me and produce ok end results
