We all know who you hate

jade goody and heather mills and the mccann family for example and there have been lots of expressive (and imaginative lol) out bursts aimed at these people.

However I'm starting to feel we need to show some lovin babies! So who do you like, celeb wise, not just like um Dave from the pub. And why do these celebs earn your like..likedness (??) and respect.

I personally like:

Rolf Harris because he has lots of fun quirky talents (i.e. wobble board and jake the peg lol) and lots of really cool talents like his painting and the way he is with people, he strikes me as a lovely genuine chap and i thought the way he was with the people on animal hospital was just lovely.

Stephen King because he is such a cool writer he doesnt shy away from writing stuff that might make his book unpopular (like killing off really nice likable characters in horrible ways) and whether i like where the story has gone or not i never finish one of his books and go "man i'm not bothering with him again". Also he writes about stuff that most other writers avoid (snot and other bodily functions) and his writing is reflects the way life is, its not all perfect, people get spots and snot when they cry and think the most inapropriate stuff at disturbing times.

William Shattner because he is a dude and he knows how to laugh at himself, which imo makes people 100% cool rather than acting all aloof and JLo and because he played captain kirk, who was an imperfect hero.

Sandra Bullock because she just seems so nice! and funny and plays nice people and you dont see her in the news getting headlines all the time (actually i dont think ive ever seen her in the news) and because she looks different, she's not a generic actress. and also because she snorts when she laughs.

Trevor McDonald, because he seems like a really nice person and has a very nice voice, i wish when i was little he read me a bed time story.

Ian McGaskell....just because i liked the way he used to pop up while doing the weather report and go "Hullo!"

I'm going to extend my list and do it properly. A top 6 like also:

1) Natalie Portman: Because she's cute and I love her accent.
2) Eddie Izzard: Funniest comedian, and only reason I'd ever consider transvesititism.
3) Pauley Shore: Underestimated, find him really funny.
4) Black haired white girl from cheeleading movie: My type, end of. Pretteh.
5) Olsen Twins: My age, quite hot. Rich and seem.. Not dull.
6) Angelina Jolie 1995-2003: ... *is male*

Frank Miller - Purely for rebuilding Batman as the Dark Knight. He's done alot of stuff over the years, but he turned the leotarded camp crusader from a bad gay joke into an edgy, troubled, driven three dimentional character. He had a proper personality, a story, and a reason for doing what he does.

Any and all webcomic artists/writer - There's alot of talent out there, not just Penny Arcade, PvP and Ctrl+Alt+Del... Many do what they do for the love of it, as a full job, or just to tell a story. Whatever the reason, theres some great talents out there, and its not an easy thing to accomplish too. Kudo's to those who can be successful at it.

Bill Clinton - Did an intern in the Oval Office. Sure she looked like a pig, but hey, a blowjobs a blowjob.

Boris Johnson - A man with two half brains. He knows how to take the piss out of himself, and he nows how to play the crowd. He does have some solid views and opinions, and he a decent debator in the commons too (seriously, you watch him on Have I got News For You, he's nothing like that at work). Its a shame he could never be a comedian without being in politics, I don't think he'd be nearly as entertaining.

There are more, but thats all that comes to mind at almost 2am

Ewan McGregor, after seeing him in the roadtrip show Long Way Round.
He seems like a really nice person with a deep personality who tries to understand the world around him.

I like Peter Kay and Lee Evans just purely coz they are funny people and you can always count on them making you smile.

I wont say any girls names because most that say girls names want to shag them.

I like Keanu Reeves, I know he can't act that well, but is a really nice guy, and has been shat on a lot by fate (gf being killed, daughter having medical problems etc)

I also like Christian Bale a lot, simply because he is an amazing actor and was far too underrated for ages (Equilibrium is one of the best films ever made!)

David Duchovny ?!

You might as well say The Hoff is an amazing actor, Heather Mills McCartney is a wonderful human being, that Premier League footballers are renowned for their sophistication & intelligence, that fat ginger women have nice balanced personalities, that cigarettes are nutritious, that New Labour is a success, that petrol in Britain really isn't expensive enough, and that fluffy dice hanging from your car mirror are retro stylish.

Meeting Johnny Depp would be pretty cool. We could do a Loathing in Las Vegas style road trip :)

Fluffy dice hanging from your car mirror are NAFF

They're not kitch. They're not retro. They're not IN. They're not cool. They're not hip. They're not a postmodernist take on irony. They're just CRAP. Might as well have a green transparent sticker across the top of your windscreen with "DARREN & TRACY"
