Give WON.NET time to go over the software. If the software came out at 9am this morning (California-Time) it will still take WON.NET 8-12 hours to give the final okay.

Well the plot thickens. If you go to bbs.counter-strike.net it says the forums are closed due to the realease of v6.5
Presumably they are closed to keep down server load. But where is 6.5 and the HL patch to go with it?

Re: HL 1.1.0.0 Patch. Just to let you know that Valve's target date for completion of bugs is tomorrow.
However it depends if the bug is fixed and no other bugs occur.
If so then Valve will release at 11am California time (7pm UK time) tomorrow.
WON will still spend a further 8 to 12 hours on it so it will probably not be available until Wednesday morning (if it comes out tomorrow).
Then the servers get the software.
Thus don't be surprised if you must wait until Thursday/Friday before its available to upgrade.
