Ive been using the ml10 castable cloak for a couple of months now. prefered the one with End charge on but they fecking changed it.

SoM nice atm because of assasin situation and the 200 points ablative, also gives nice 5 % melee speed which is handy on slams.

With NF i think SoM will lose a lot of its potential because of keepfights and
MoS, and since NF not that far away i would say building a template without
not that bad.

traitors dagger isn't a abaltive, its a offensive proc which does 100-200 damage and does 50 damage to yourself, but the lvl 5 proc pwns for keeping u alive if there are a few of them on your enermie

Got a cloak of the Gale, but that mantle of impaling is worth looking into, if anyone would have more info on that, pls let me know.

how are your resists? if you cap all them it might be worth posting for others to use

While not Scout cloaks, either of these might come in handy if you're struggling to fit the others in your template:

Wrap of Withstanding - Quest cloak
Crush: 7%
Slash: 7%
Thrust: 7%
Spirit: 8%

Bonus to AF: 8

Harpy Feather's Cloak
Crush: 6%
Slash: 6%
Thrust: 6%

Bonus to melee speed: 5%

But you'd choose this cloak for the level 5 & 10 abilities - though I think the level 5 one may be bugged atm?

i wouldn't say its bugged but in around 300 solo fights i think it has procced about once and worked. seems to proc quite a lot vs mobs though but doesnt do anything to them.

Don't understand why people show off about I got this and that, but won't help a community with ideas, making their templates.

fact is that I need 2 more items to complete my template, and these are rather rare, I hope to get them before the end of next weekend, then I'll post my template.

btw, took me exactly 30 mins to come up with a decent template, after I typed in all the scout items I could find... hehe, though it took me like 2 weeks (1-2 hour/day) to find and type the items in.

Another thing is:
My scout is my "alt" char, hence I don't rank him very high when I hunt for items, that's why it's been taking me like 6 months to get this far (5 Arti's lvl 10, and still 2 to go), and Im not even done yet
Then there is the ML train that I need to attend to aswell (ML5 atm) + I need to spend shitloads of money (50P'ish) to buying a couple of items that is simply out of my league to obtain.

The day Im done with all this, Tinny, my Scout, will never again set foot in the doomed land of ToA!!!!1

If you want templates with SoM in head to www.critshot.com, 90% of them seem to use it.

Ahh ok thanks for the info I was thinking of using this in mine, but have heard mixed things about how often the proc goes off - in theory it sounds great, but if it goes off that few times then it isn't worth the hassle of leveling it.

SoM good for 1 thing, thats when an enemy attacks you in melee, now
with NF comming, keepfights and new RA MoS it might lose a lot of its power.

Every fancy items cost in SC and you cant have it all, so its about price/benefits of using an item.

Im using SoM atm, i like it, but might replace it for NF simply because i might
get more out of other items.
Lets say i have high MoS and see 2 assasins inc, then i might rather use winged helm or enylias boots to speed away.
Maybe i like band of stars more for insta charge.
Maybe i like to max hp which ofc wont give as much in melee as SoM, but will help me survive longer against nukers while im shoting from walls.
Maybe i would like to use new gem avaliable in 1.71 with xtra damage.
And so on..

The game changes, atm SoM is the best scout cloak imo, but it will most likely not be in NF.
