Midgard seems really relaxed about the relic situation right now.

I can't remember the last time I heard them mentioned, so mellowed are we.

Must be the ambient music of the isles, it's soothed the savage beast within us all.

The relics are nothing compared to a nice cool lemonade on Aegirhamn docks.

There was a keep raid several nights ago to play with CS's. They simply didn't spawn after several hours of waiting I'm told. Keep was upgraded appropriately but nothing happened. I think that's partly why not many are rushing out to do it as its seen as being bugged.

Also, Midgard is in the doledrums just now. Peeps levelling SI alts, shakeups in various guilds and nobody talking to each other, which also doesn't help organise anything significant so don't hold your breath. Lots of manouevering going between guilds too. The Me-Me-Me attitude is very much to the fore at the moment and many players have actually quit the game recently (not all post on BW, they simply go).

A little time and it will calm down, then we'll be beating on your doors

Actually it was because we got a bit confused. You can get a CS but it has to be done in a non crafting keep. When we did it last weekend we took Beno and upgraded it. WHen it hadn't spawned for 3 hours and all the mids got wiped a rather helpful Old.Sko told us that you can't have a CS in a crafter keep.

You live and learn.. it's all part of the fun.

Still feels a bit pointless to attack the alb relic. When you finaly get mids there it is about 200 albs waiting inside. And about the same with hippi relic. Run through emain and with a chanse of 100% get spoted and someone rants about it on IRC and voila a keep full of pbaoe maniacs.

Well it was the last times i came along and then it was lag,lag and some more lag=utterly boring. Would like to try some new large scale battles now with the SI engine see how much good it does.

Still is a waste of time to try and grab a relic when the other side knows of if before most of the ones going do.

I've quite happy i don't have to have my main permanatly camped in Excal to log her every night during the raids

And even if we did take them it will be within a week or two when most of mids have forgoten the hard work getting them. And when its anounced that there is a few fg at the relic bashing the doors about 90% of the mid population thinks "I'm just gonna det this lvl (9bubs left at lvl 46 for ex.) I'll come after that" and "Can't the others defend the relic" its not hard to guess what happens with that kinda attitude.

If we never had the relics from the start i would be running around in a full af 102 100% chain suit and wielding lvl 51 100% hammer and shield

Only been 1 RR since i got my new comp. My old one sook at RR got like 20 min delay on my keystrokes.

Perhaps we should try a 6 am RR on a weekday

imo the depressing thing about taking relics is that you know you are gonna lose them at some morning raid. (morning is anything before 12 am for me )
