As a matter of fact, CTF is my favorite branch of Q3 - The public servers are a tad poo, and havent had a change to play in a properly organised game yet - and considering i never even thought about playing ctf in q2 - its pretty good
the grapple wouldve just confused me anyway, i hated lithium

Yeah i will get round to a megagame, the last Q2 megagame i played was good fun - when is it, at what time? Ill look forward to it.

Its the merging of small groups of cunts into a bigger group of cunts.

Decent games on the CTF public servers are possible. Just you sometimes have to swap teams in game to avoid imbalance.

One thing about the Q2 LMCTF mod was that a players near the top of the winning team were a lot more willing to change sides as they kept their frag score. An ego thing I suppose, but its something for ID/CTF mod makers to consider.

I pretty much try to even teams when they get uneven (tho usually it takes someone mentioning it cos I rarely look at the scoreboard during a game) but its a bit frustrating to be put back to 0 again especially when the connect time doesnt reset as well.
