oh the pain

went to the gym last night for the first time in 8 months (time off for medical reasons) and boy do I hurt this morning.

Who would have thought the elbows could feel such localised pain!

Although 6 months time I'll be back in shape again

Heh, probably, although specific areas are killing me because I deliberately pushed myself too hard to check my fitness and strength levels.

My lower triceps are still so swolen and sore enough than I can't raise my arms up to scratch my nose.

I do however have a fair idea what I need to work on now though.

Good luck with the exam mate. it's ok if you fail though, you can always still get a job in the IT industry like the rest of us who didn't work hard enough at uni!

No, it makes me feel good though... there's going to be an initial couple of weeks of severe pain whilst my body gets used to it again, but I want my body back... I looked in the mirror this weekend sideways and looked 6 months pregnant...

Yeah, but people who didn't go to uni missed out on 3/4 years of drinkiing and not having to get up till midday.

still sore.

and what's worse is that salesmen keep bloody phoneing me up and it's physically painful to lift the phone to my ear....

i'm definately getting a bit past it I think. time was when I could have done that work out and been out drinking afterwards. Last night I just about managed to heat up some curry and collapse infront of a film on the telly, then have an early night.

definately have to start using the steam room and sauna after working out I think, this just hurts too much!
