Just had one of the funniest 60 mins of cs ever, over estate and nuke, about 8 of us, all using:

glocks v glocks
unzoomed scouts v unzoomed scouts (by far the funniest)
shotteh v shotteh
knives v knives
tmps v mac10s
elites v 5-7s

apart from 1 lamer toward the end, who bought an ak and tked his team, it was absolutely hilarious. And this, on a public, too.

u should all try it - scoring a headshot on a t while jumping, firing an unzoomed scout, from a distance, is very funny indeed!

Long range unzoomed shots paying off with a S C O U T E H !aren't uncommon. Done it quite a few times even with my shite aim & connection... Used to do it all the time when there was a unzoomed crosshair there...

The way I usually do it is when I'm covering a corner and some potential victim keeps popping their head around it. fire & miss, do the bolt thing, fire again without moving mouse *unzoomed hs bs* !

Bungle, you only hit people long range unzoomed because the bullet calculation of CS is completely random and rarely hits centre of the Xhair where it should most of the time, which means you missed, but due to CS having idiot bullet calc you ended up hitting, pld etc.

I know this is the case and I accept it happens to me, plenty of times I've shot long range, completely missed and got a headshot, it sucks.

One little trick I use when sniping, especially from ct spawn in italy, is to instantly fire again, without waiting for the scope to reappear. The shot is very nearly always bang on target.
