Would be interesting to see what you think, do, act etc.

Bet there's plenty of so called swallowing in your life.

I can't think of anything, if its bullshit I ignore it or walk away.

I aren't clever but I can work out whats real or not.

Thanks Trem :/

Buh?

I have just really pissed off some people I think with what I have said, I am going to really annoy Will I think :(

Maybe my "fuck them all" rant was a tad harsh so for that I apologise, I was just so angry about this little girl.

What a complete ****, I bet that girl had a slow painful time without insulin and an idea about control etc.

Why cant it be the religious nut who gets diabetes so it's just him who suffers from his own stupidity.

dying of diabetes (from a lack of insulin) isnt that bad. you feel funny, then go into a coma, then you die. probably not that bad compared to most.

Here's the problem, we don't know how long she had diabetes before she died...also are you diabetic? I am and I really don't agree with how 'simple' you make it.

Actually you're thinking of insulin overdose(which a diabetic can survive also).

You feel like you're a bit drunk, then go to a coma and either the body corrects and burns some stuff to get you on your feet to eat enough, or you coma/die.

Lack of insulin means your head hurts, then your stomach cramps like the devil was twisting them, you get a fever of around 40 celcius, you topple over and can't move, your heart races at around 200-220, uncontrolled vomit and diarrhea and then you pass out when the pain goes away for a while, only to wake up a good 10 minutes later to more pain.

This will go on as long as your heart/body can take it, it will start about a day before.

Been there(can only imagine the rest of the symptoms when you die from it) when my bloodsugar spiked to 30+ and had an inflamed pancreas.

Death from it takes a good 2 days of complete torture if you're lucky.

Will rep if I can. Also like I was saying, as she was a child she may have had a slight bit of control simply by running around etc like kids do thus burning off the carbohydrates/sugar etc. With such poor control she'd get into all sorts of problems.

Yeah, even for a grown-up it's a real hell and even if the paramedics get to you on the first day(at first it seems like a tummy ache and a fever), it's still a good chance you won't survive it or get very large complications.

Can't even imagine it for a kid.

I was diagnosed when i was 7. I think I went to the toilet 17 times (body makes you wee out the sugar if you're really high, for anyone who did not know :p) before my parents thought "yeah this isn't right" and rushed me to hospital!

Hmmm, when you say you pissed a lot was that within 10 minutes or over a few hours?

My lad can piss every 10 minutes sometimes.....all day. We did take him the doctors but they didn't seem worried.

Well it's usually a side-produce from needing about double the liquid intake(should drink 4 litres every day). And it's constant, like all the time, every day. Piss piss piss.

So if you piss a lot more then you should and drink a lot more(feeling dehydrated for no reason), i'd get it checked.

If a doctor doesn't seem worried about someone pissing every 10 minutes, get another opinion :D

It doesn't harm to get your diabetes risk checked anyway.

Hmmm he does drink lots, I know this because my dad had diabetes (but I'm quite sure thats because he fucked his pancreas through booze). When I was little my dad kept having pancreatitis, I have never seen anyone in such pain since those attacks he had. It was horrific.

Cheers Toht I reckon he will get booked in for some tests.

Yeah just to say I agree with what Tohtori said.

Does he ever complain his eyes are sore or he has a headache when he's pissing every 10 minutes? Also when I was diagnosed it was pee pee time every 10 or so minutes.

Next time he's going to toilet & drinking water all the time, think what he's been eating/drinking for the previous few hours. If it's been sugary drinks/sweets then it could be diabetes.

Your best bet is to see the doctor again and explain the symptoms. You could ask him to give your child a quick blood test. Literally a pin prick on his finger and they can check his blood sugar level from a small speck of blood. (supposed to be between 4-9 iirc).

The problem with that is he could be fine that day so the test would show everythings ok. What I think they do at the hospital is a proper blood test (where they get a vial or 2 of blood). They can then see his levels over the past month or so iirc.

Remember Trem don't be afraid to get a second opinion, it literally takes seconds to have a blood sugar test so if your gp didn't do it and just guessed it was normal then he's a bit of a tard. I had mine checked because I was worried but it turns out I am actually wolerine and still have perfect health, apart from my irritable bowels :(
