I just dumped Merik, grand mage of the 10th legion, third in line to the throne, etc. etc. [his words] in favour of a luscious traveler mage-chick heh. He was most displeased about it. I hate it so much when they bitch about being disbanded.
I kept his staff tho heh

edit: also I was rather curious what would/could happen when old Merik finally got smart enough to be able to use his bloody staff! has anyone kept him that long? Does anything happen?

lol I still have merik, hes a bit cack aye, and the fact he cant use his staff takes the piss beyond belief....

hmmm I 'pose it's ok then. I did mark my savegame thb. It would be a real bitch if he was 'needed' later on [like to get into the chamber of stars or summat].
