yes xbox live will be c'est super!!!

xbox live released november 12th - comes with mic and headset. (not sure on cost) Service does not include web page browsing and stuff so no need to buy mouse and keyboard. You need minimum adsl/cable to use Xbox Live, so in your case 1meg cable should be absolutely parfect

4 online games available at launch -> (unreal championship being one)

17 by end of this year

and about 150 or so by next year

Hate Amped...although it did keep stalling and then crashed on the xbox I saw it on

how wrong can you be? when the cube goes online you'll have to buy a BB adapter/56k modem for it, sounds like an upgrade to me.

It wasn't a reference to hardware parts you fing butternut...just that xbox users need to go online to get satisfaction from their machine.

hmmmm, i dunno emb. it ain't why i'm buying the machine to be honest - it's a bonus i guess but i thought that with my DC - and got bored of the online function of that. Then again i never played any games over the net on it..

i bought mine for a few reasons

- good games
-good dvd playback, nice remote control
- 4 control ports
- great controller for fps and racing games -> my 2 favourite type of game.

even if xbox live comes out , i wont be able to use it
