Well i built my new PC.

-Final spec was a bit different and it turned out like this,

-A7N8X Deluxe SKT A NForce2 Chipset Motherboard VER: 2.0

-AMD XP2800+ Retail Boxed 333 FSb Barton 512kb L2 Cache Inc

-2 X Samsung 256mb PC3200 400Mhz Original DDR 184pin

-Leadtek Winfast Fx 5600 AGP X8 MyVIVO 256MB DDR DVI Dual Monitor Out

-Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 120Gb 7200rpm UDMA133 Hard Drive

-Samsung 52x24x52x16x Internal Ide Combo CDR & DVD

-Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition

Loaded up SI and great it works, well until i enter the SI zones that is. When i enter Domann through the portal the computer looks up for 5-10 secs consistently.

I have downloaded the new Detonator driver from NVidia.com.
Are there any other drivers i should download? Do i need to get Mobo drivers from Asus or are there others out there i can try?

Forgive me as im a little thick.

Are there seperate drivers for Chipset & Mobo?

Also cutting back shadows seems to solve the problem. It is only in Si Zones though.

Yes Rubric, there are different drivers for both motherboard and gfx card. Also it has been mentioned in this forum that the fx cards have some problems with SI and you hit the immediate solution thats given, i.e. the shadow thing. Mythiv are apparently looking into it. Someone has posted the official FAQ on graphics cards which are supported and it is confusing as the FX ones appear to be but there is a caveat somewhere among the small print :D

The NForce drivers can be found on the Nvidia site. Get the latest version of them and see if that helps.

Ok got new Nforce drivers & new gfx card drivers from Nvidia.com.

Do i need to get mobo drivers as well or is that what the Nforce Drivers are?

No difference by the way but i can play by turning off the shadows when in a SI zone.

The NForce drivers are for your motherboard yes. However Asus will may have their own version of these which may include or exclude extras specific to your motherboard.
