Offical information please

I bought DaoC a week ago now and ive still not had a chance to play the game and the only information ive been given is that the subscription services went down on the 18th and that thier sorry about the inconvience

This as you can imagine is quiet annoying....

Now i wouldnt mind as much if there was a little bit more information about whats going on, like when can i finally create an acocunt and log into the game. Its not even as though theres a forum where i know the devs look at

Any info would be very well received

Wait until you've played the game for 1½ year , gotten really addicted, and then it shuts down for a week and no one will tell you when it comes back up... believe me, it hurts :lol:

so true... so true... especially when u have 3+ lv50s like me n they are all closed

i bought the game 1 month ago, with plaetside, i installed planetside 1st but then i dident like it so yestoday i instlaled this and not only have i realised they have cut off 2letters/numbers off the end of the cd key they give me, when i manage to find annother cd key to install the game i cant even make an account cause the things down,

what do u need to get your free month? is it the cd key if so im not goner get it cause i fear if i try to take it back now they will think i have played my month and tring to change it for another key for a new month which i dont do, i really wanted to play this game also,

i have a SI cd key though in full can the SI cdkey get me the free month?

You need to register your daoc standard copy on the webby, which, you cant do atm anyway.
Then you activate the si expansion by entering that key in your subscription section, the details of which they will send you. Funnily enough you cant do that atm either.

Reference your cd key, the only thing you can do is take it back and get a replacement. As far as i know GOA will not give out CD keys.

Good luck for the game when you eventually get to play it.

u have any idea of when the subscrption is coming up, i am very impatient in these kind of situations and i normally move on, unless ive allready played it and wish to keep playing.

They say (mind you GOA says a lot of stuff ) it should be back up next week. Last week they said it would be up early this week so keep on hoping and good luck with it mate...

well i guess this gives me time to ab able to take it back and swap it for new cd key with all the letters/numbers.

i seem to recall a lot of people having 'broken cd-keys', back in the days.

didnt the cd keys work even if broken?
