Off Thailand in a Week!!

As the title says i am heading for a week of sun and fun in Thailand on the 7th May

For those that have been before can you tell me the must see places and things to do when there and also things that are to be avoided?

I will post pictures once i have returned, of all the tourist places and even maybe a couple for the Booty and Boobs thread!!

Also cos people banging on about the great holidays they're going on and I can't afford anything more than a couple of days camping in the new forest.

My dad is going to the Cape Verde Islands with my younger brothers and sisters and didn't even invite me.

Can't say I blame you, rotten postition for any fan to be in and not being able to go on holiday is a pisser as well, I think alot of us are in the same boat on that score though with the economy the way it is.

Good luck to tierk though, just stay away from the ladyboys and I am sure you will have a great time.

My sister and her family goes there once a year around x-mas, they have said they never eat food at the "tourist" restaurant but only go to the street vendors and never get sick while their friends who eat at restaurants have got sick the last 2 years.

1. don't lick any thai womans nipples because they coat them with poison then rob you while ur knocked out

2. always check for your pocket contents if someone accidently "bumps" into you.

3. don't go flashing your mobile phone around or any expensive video equipment or you might be robbed at knife point depending on the area.

1) Beware of pick-pockets
2) Don't kiss any women in bars - you'll get drugged
3) If you are going to pick up a hooker, always check for an Adams Apple, as it's usually the big give-away with their lady-boys. Believe me when i say you may have trouble telling the difference otherwise!
4) If you're in the capital, be careful where you go. There are some areas that are no-go for westerners.
5) Drink only bottled water and take your personal hygine very seriously.
6) Only eat well-cooked meat or you will end up sick.

You have to be careful of monkeys too no joke
They sometimes come in your room in the night and steal stuff and also when you're out and about in some places they block the way hissing and showing their fangs trying to get food and water off tourists. Also don't touch them even if the lil babies look so cute lol
