Odd behaviour in DF

Eariler this afternoon I was part of a group bashing Cambions in DF when we caught site of a lone highlander (conning red to me at L41 so 45+) being good Middys we drew weapons and charged, after a hard won fight we met with a stream of abuse from fellow middys (conning grey and green) for killing their 'friend', what is wrong with you people?

He knew the risks of being there, he fought well but he was still the enemy, if you want to meet more of these charming fellows port to emain or hadrians and see how 'nice' they are then.

Maybe he was a considerate Alb and had been previously helping out grey con Mids and you didn't realise. It would be extremely unlikely that you would receive abuse for killing an invader for no valid reason. For curiousity purposes, who was the Alb in question?

Lets talk cross - teaming shall we? Like an incident I remember a few weeks back when a high level saracen was ganked in Uplands (exp killed-aint that a shame) and the ganker got a heated pm from a high profile middie peep for commiting this foul and treacherous act within minutes. Kind of a shame that the person complaining is never seen chasing stealthers around Upplands and lives in Emain (i.e. doesnt give a fuck about lowbie realm peeps getting zapped by said Alb), and is obviously in direct (irc possibly) contact with his Alb friend.

Feel not a shred of remorse Grim m8..you did the right thing :)

Simple rule to follow which keeps life uncomplicated: The only good Alb is a released Alb. And I would respect any Alb who felt the same about Middies.

A friend of mine also got contacted by a "high profile" mid player.
After attacking an alb infil i believe it was.
This infil evades/blocked 6 arrows and got to this hunter and whooped his ass.

After which this friend of mine got contacted by this "high profile" mid player, and had a long conversation.
In which this infils full stats where revealed incl EQ and much more.

This and much more make me wonder of the seriousness and without a doubt undoubted trust to some people.

Since they seem to have more contact with the enemy then its own realm.
I have also gotten aware of people sitting on same "lan" as players on the other side. this however is sometimes hard to avoid i guess.
On a Relic raid some months ago a guy even openly confessed to his "alb" friends looking at his screen LoL.

This is why relicraids cant be spoken outloud and guild invite on raids are more rule nowdays.
And lvl2 seers/vikings/rogues standing at svasud TP asking where we are going when larger then normal crowds gather.

Me personally would like to see guild be more hard when it comes to security thinking.
To make the game more enjoyable to all.

oh yes people even spill their guts on certain channels on irc on what is happening on our side.

<nick-x> ./who emain mids
<weirdo> 89
<nick-x> o_O

not thinking of the possibility that perhaps that something bigger then zerging is going on.
And person X logs in his alt to check out their relic keep maybe. and therefore spoiling it.

Try to think of these things.
Dont take the game too seriously but respect those who do.
