Nvidias latest driver

Is there a bug in the latest nvidia patch, or the one released this sunday i think. Couldnt play any typ of vidiofiles on my pc after that upgrade. After alot of troubleshooting i uninstalled all nvidia drivers. Erased all nvidiafiles in regedit and on the harddrive. Installed a few months old driver and it worked again. Anyone else had this problem?

this may sound weird but make sure your running lastest BIOS revision. I had multiple problems with my new system that runs Sli bridged Nvidia cards and the lastest nvidia drivers, found an article that mentioned the BIOS flash. After the flash its worked fine with the lastest drivers.
