Nvidia + opengl + vsync

So how do I turn it off? I've been trying for ages since the new drivers came out and the machine outside is stuck at the monitor refresh rate.

You've tried the right click desktop, settings tab , advanced thing right?

Yup, it's turned off for everything by default there, yet opengl games still ignore that and vsync me up

Re-install drivers or cheat and install Powerstrip and set vync off by changing your profile to high performance which disables vsync by default in the driver options.

are you really an evil genious... I ask because I've been contemplating a career in that general area....

How much is a hollowed out Volcano these days.... did you have problems getting a mortgauge on it... being self employed and all.... or did you buy cash upfront? I wouldn't mind some tips as to how to go about recuiting minions if you'd be so kind as to help?

Volcano's dont come cheap, if you got some imagination you could save up and buy the millenium dome as thats shaped like a volcano, you can make anything look like a volcano if you squint hard enough :). As for dumb minions I'd thats easy, there's a whole legion of easily lead peons in the the Barrysworld General forum loads. :p
