Nvidia Det3 drivers

Ok so it aint 2 do with HL and mods as normally you dont run them in directx however i am posting this here coz lots of gamers read this forum:

When using nvidias latest drivers in directx mode it puts an nvidia logo in the corner. Is there anyway to get rid of this annoying thing.

PS: Dont say get old drivers coz the last ones didnt work 4 my geforce2mx with windows 98

u disable show directx logo in teh advanced detonator directx setup.

In the driver properties (display properties | settings | advanced | adapter | Geforce2 MX (or whatever) | Additional Properties | Direct 3d Settings )

And UNTICK "Display Logo WHen Running Direct3d Apps"

I dont have that. All I have is a Disable vertical syn option. Is that it or something else?

I think I have a custom Detonator control installed. Under the adapter tab the only options are:

change and refresh rate.

Under NV11 aditional properties under more directx the only option is disably verticle syn but that is in a box about rendering ahead frames so I dont think this is right. Am I lookin in the wron place?

Install some different detonator drivers, which ones are u using? All the top benching ones are fine for me, with all options.

I would use 7.58's or 12.41's under 98se, no idea about under w2k though.

Det drivers I use are 12.41. The one earlier to that did not work properly (not jsut for me) if you had a geforce2mx and W98se (a certain version). The error caused it to come up with:

error whilst working with desk.cpl (i think) when trying to load advanced properties

This means i dont want to get older ones

don't you need to unlock the extra display properties int he registry for some MX cards? Dunno, I use a 64mb GF1 DDR and that runs sweet

Very nice....I only have the 32MB DDR version until the Friday just gone
