nVIDIA 45.23 drivers and new jaggies

Is anybody else having problems with the Detonator 45.23 drivers and in particular the new 'Display Timing' feature?

There are four options, Auto-Detect, General Timing Formula, Discrete Monitor Timing, and Fixed Aspect Ration Timing.

It seems that no matter which option I use, video playback on any media player (Windows MP, Real, QuickTime, PowerDVD) starts off fine and smooth and normal, then goes all jaggy.

Anyone else? Not a major issue as I shall uninstall and reinstall the previous driver, but I was curious as to whether anyone else had this problem and in particular, if anyone knows what causes it.

Thanks, Xav! I've still got my Ti4400. Screenies on the way, asuming that the capture output demonstrates the problem...

Nuts. It's fine at the moment and I can't 'force' the problem. I'll post pics next time it happens.

It looks as though the output (lets say, DVD) is naturally slightly jaggy and the video player of graphics driver 'smooths' the display slightly. Except that with the new drivers, this doesn't always happen.

ok, I'll ghost XP onto a box now with a Ti4400 and once I've got drivers and stuff on there I'll post my findings.

Just to help a little futher, can you let me know the rest of your spec?
