Is it true that +nurture increases buff stats for bard?

i.e. to get full delve wud need 51 nurture?

You need equal to or higher than the level of the spell you are casting, so 43 or higher nurt for the con buff and 50 or higher for the str buff. Higher than that does nothing whatsoever.

Edit: And with 1 nurture the buffs would barely give like 50%-75% or so(dont know exactly, but i know its quite a bit below full when having 25ish nurt @ 50).

actually you will buff for more - delve-value is 50 i think, and max you will buff for with 50+ nurture is 62 then ( for the str-buff that is) - iirc of course

So would it be worth a bard with 43 nurt having +nurt on sc or carrying a spare piece of lowbie gear with +nurt on it for buffing?

Last thing yeah. If you're not planning on fighting you can put +nurture on the shield/sword , switch to S/S when buffing up and then switch back to the instrument you wanna use.

50 Nurture is the maximum you can have, 38+12 Nurture would be the same as 50+12 AFAIK.
My cleric is 50+14 Enhance, yet the buffs are no better than 50+3.
My druid was 35+10 nurture, with certain items equiped and these were better than my 35+4 buffs.
