Some time ago I found a utility that converted the "dots" to actual ping times in the box where you connect to a server. Unfortunatly I have lost it. Does anyone know where I can get this convertor?

in your shortcut command line, enter the variable -numericping.
i.e.
c:\sierra\halflife\cstrike -game cstrike -noipx -nojoy -numericping
or something along those lines.
This should work

Dont know I have numeric ping on even though I use gamespy.
Highend systems, well anyone with anything better than a tnt2 really, turn on 32bpp.
Oh yeah if u use gamepsy or pingtool or teh liek to connect, the command line u use to connect must also incude these extra commands.

I heard once of someone using the foot pedals for playing CS. There used one pedal for duck and the other for reload.
Must admit after playing Arcade games, the reload n duck thing with the pedal worked a treat.
If u got it try it out, some might like it some might not.

Only time ive been on as something like that is when I reinstalled half life.
Went on to a server (didnt pay attention to what name I was on as) and ran about shooting.
Kept seeing kills appearing for "Disabled" - and though that this was kinda OTT as a name.
Then found out it was me - must be some kinda default that HL sets as your name when installing.
