Isn't Tritium (which apparently will supply the electrons) a very rare hydrogen isotope? Makes me wonder what those batteries will cost...

Naw Tritiums not that expensive, but not sure about implanting it in the body safely.

I suppose if they can implant standard chemical batteries safely, these new nuclear ones are safe as well. According to the article the radiation coming from the Tritium can be blocked by a paper sheet, so a metal capsule should deffinately contain it then.

Isn't tritium the stuff in the glowing keyrings from theregister? I have one of those and I think it's the same stuff.
