Is anyone else having problem with their cable today? Half of the internet only seems to work, most websites work intermittently and it's getting on my fucking tits. Tried hard-rebooting the modem, rebooting numerous times etc, nothing seems to work.

Yeah, I've had some problems with DNS going down intermittently throughout the morning - wasn't in this afternoon, so I can't comment on how it was then.

Seems to be ok this evening though.

it's not DNS, cos I can run traceroute's to the websites. It's been like this since about midday :/

Hmmm, ok. Different problems then, though I wouldn't be surprised if they've fixed the one only to cause the other...

I was having major dial-up problems with them the other day, and the NTL Service Status helped explain things.

Not working properly here either.

I'm also having intermittent email problems too (sending and receiving)...

And that service status page usually never seems to explain anything until after it's fixed...

i've been having problems with browsing / using e-mail for the last few days, according the the NTL Status Page there is planned maintenance happening all this week which could be the root of the problems.

I usually use nthellworld for see if there are any quick fixes etc related to NTL. The forums are used by NTL Customer support and engineers so you can be nearly always guarenteed a quick resolution (although there is no guarentee it will actually work )

Mines is poo too. My homepage comes on straight away and my regulars ie BW is shite running through treacle man. I read in the paper its summit to do with a virus slowing things down. BigF virus or summit.
