NS wearing plate?

Today after stealthing around some (great night btw)

I find zanzara a lvl 50 NS attacking a poor hunter of our realm. To the rescue I hurry over there as stealthed as I can, and I get in PA->CD then double frost when I notice something funny.
60 damage with main hand and some 16 with offhand.
Doing no damage at all I quickly run out of end and some infiltrator named asdwen decideds to interfere.

Now for comparison this yellow con asdwen I find later and double frost for about 260 main hand and 40-50 offhand (revenge was sweet).

I also find camillio (lvl 50 infiltrator) and do around 150-160 with main hand damage against him.

Now I checked if it is just was because the NS epic had some funky slash resist and noticed that I did in fact get negatives on zanzara... -1 to -2 while I got +15 on camillio.

Still can anyone explain why the NS is wearing plate compared to camillio? Pretty sure both are using epic armour.

Edit on a sidenote See hidden made me see stealthed guys even while dead is this a bug or is it supposed to be this way?
Anyone know?

Can't comment on the armor, but the see hidden still works when dead

Probably some new fancy RA, i know clerics get like a 50% damage reduction RA for 30 sec or so, dunno what hibbies got.

I whack huge chunks out of XZanz, 200 damage a swing of my 1H hammer, so to me, he aitn wearing anythign but paper

I dont think plate is helping much =(

I still get hit for 300+ by 2 lv higher slash users when I hit them for 80...
plate might look good, but an raincoat would probably give more protection =)

I hit a yellow con NS to my lvl 50 sb with an perfect pa and i got him to 20% then my venom finished him off , not sure what level he was but he didn't seem to be hard .....

Some explanation after I finally get access back to this forum...
I got Epic Armor, I think you were not using shimmering arcanite weapons, so you loose lot s damage.
I got max resistance to slash

On a side note I was not buffed (well I am rarely anyway), I remember this fight vs the hunter cauze I was jumped by one Infiltrator and one SB during the same fight...

Damn overpopulated emain, cannot do a job properly, last time, I was fighting 2 infiltrator and one scout at the same time. Be kind with poor NS we don 't have the number so let us kill some people 1 vs 1 sometimes

Zanz you and Blackout (right name) make a great team, but for god sakes, attack together, that evening in emain, you attacked me, pissed ur PA and got royally spanked, then your mate comes and finishes me off, you got no rp, do as the albs do, double team

Poor NS vs Thane without proper poison and PA chain is a no no !

Correct fight, and actually the infiltrator first finished the hunter then you then me

But I was using one arcanium and one neutherium (the bastard sword)
Still don't explain why I hit a NS for so much less then an inf.
I have met another orange NS that was not 50 and same phenomena while yellow get hit for normal amounts of damage(loads ) it is something about orange NS.

And you would need to have a slash restiance close to 50% to get it as low as they did.

It is strange I must say.
