NS spec

getting a bit bored of 1 shotting casters.

was thinking of a change, got a few spec ideas here what u guys think?

18 blades (aug str II)
18 CD ( side stun!!)
18 stealth (since i don't rely on PA i can afford to just pop other assasins asap instead of lining up a CS style
15+5 poisions

down side is, i got no bubble popper

similar spec but with higher env

15 blades (aug str II)
18 CD
19 stealth
17 env (str-con debuff)
2 CS (1st backstab - gimp dmg but it stuns and popps bubble for me)

or....

15 blades
18 CD
18 stealth
17 env
6 CS (leftovers)

those are the three im thinking of, down side is if i go blades and i know str debuff gimps dmg, also ill have to go aug str II to raise dmg a little, so i loose MoS

think any of them are viable? i know keens ain't best suited for this spec but iwanna try somethin new

the 2nd 1.. but spec Pierce.. blades is sooo crap for NS/melee rangers in bg1

The spec that i think works very well and no one can Say anythin till they try it , - Peirce 11
- CD 18
- Evm 20
- Stealth 19

All +5 ofc

Buffed i have no problem killing anther stealther and most tanks, Unbuffed i have very good fights VRs buffed infils etc , Elf ofc

hmm

11 pierce worries me. i'll have such low WS and more dmg variance.

i'll be evaded more and ill hit for less

what spay style did you use? did you just use CD styles?

on another note, does your weap spec effect CD styles damage? or is it a seperate formula

If your buffed the BT popper shuldnt matter , especially if ure luri, ull hit the side stun on a caster b4 he reacts probably . Try em out, doesnt cost much to /respec buy at low lvls anyway.

Btw i could be wrong but your spec with the 2CS , im pretty sure BS1 doesnt have the Stun, i think thats BS2. (Forigve my lack of memory been a long time since i played a stealther)

BS I does stun! XDDDD

but it will negate the side style stun which is longer :/

never mind thats what snares are for as regards to casters anyway

tbh if u wanna be a duel weilder, tank then go shar melee ranger like maylah (yurka i fink) very good damage and can take more damage than a luwi or elf
