NS bg1

what spec would u suggest ..
i have enough gadgets to give me +5 to all stats before i start getting my sc going ..
i was looking at

21 CS
21 Pierce
8 Venom
16 stealth (for detect hidden)

last time i was a NS i was a bit pissed about the lack of dmg i was doing with the CS spec line but i love it ..and i really like the venom..

do you think stealth is that important in bg1? this NS wont be going past bg1 so no "big picture"
i may go
21 cs
21 pierce
10 stealth
15 venom (+5 to get last dot)


any ideas? im gonna roll and elf any drawbacks?

i had 5 env and 16 stealth

worked ok for my shade as she was in the BGs

CS 21 is a must for PA

just ensure u have -at least- Pierce+Bonus at your lvl

will no doubt have +5 to everything is pierce that important should i higher it or could i steal some points and invest in more stealth?

i didn't put more stealth in to keep CS and pierce high (since i soloed much).

as a goal u should have pierce 25 on lvl25 (diamondback) and CS on 29 on lvl 29 (leaper)

High stealth rules in BG1, you spot archers etc from miles away and other assassins only seem to see you when you're right on top of each other, as stated CS 21 is pretty much a must have for good old PA.
Used to keep bumping into December (first time round when she was a sexeh elf) with my BG shade Redsun, just realised we had exact same spec

last dot in bg is lvl 25, poison dosnt cap at your lvl but you spec.

my first bg shade was auto train (was gonna go 50, but droped it) with 6 stealth 21 cs 19 pierce 20 envenom and +5 on all, was alot of fun to have the other stealthers hit me and se them go from 100% hp to 0% when i went from 75-50% (after pa) to 30-50%.

now i have had a more standart ns with lower env and higher stealth, nearly caped.

my next bg ns is gonna autotrain stealth and go 22 stealth 21 cs 18 blade, might drop 1 stealth for and get 5 env 4 cd.

btw got mastery of water 1 on my curent ns4thewin

lol didnt get to finish this....
I used this specc in bg1 :
Stealth 20+5, CS 21+5 , Piercing 13+2, CD 5, Envenom13+5

I admit 13 envenom was useless , should have put 12 instead cuz of the line of dots and weakening.
I had no problems in killing even tanks and my personal opinion is that PA sux in bg1, always use back stab2 and thigh-cut , and then Garrote.
