Um has any1 actually seen a benifit from dropping a notmal weapon on a NPC enchanter.. i mean u pay for it yet for the life of me i can't see nothing different on the weapon apart from it is called "bright" or something like that..

Is there a lvl, or a requirement for it to give bonuses.. or i'd like to know what u get that i'm actually missing..

Ta in advance if u can help.

It gets a % bonus dependent on the lvl of the item.. The bonus for example a weapon has is compared to the enemies bonus on the armourpart you're trying to hit.. For example you have this uber playercrafted weapon with 35% bonus and you hit this guy without epic armour but with the best drops he could get his hands on (25% bonus).. that means you have 10% bonus against him, I believe it's only to-hit bonus but there are probably other things involved too.. you get hit less with enchanted armour is one thing that is certain (especially by mobs)

Odysseus did a test with a duskwood bow, first unenchanted, and then enchanted (enchanted duskwood gets a 35% bonus).

Unenchanted: 30 shots, 6 misses
Enchanted: 30 shots, 0 misses

Get all your crafted stuff enchanted, systematically. This game, like all D&D-derived games, is basically all about math - your stats vs. your opponents stats with a little randomization thrown in. Give yourself every edge and, long term, you will win more than you will lose.

Ppl r picking up crafted wpn more than drops just because u can have more qual (not in case of 100%) and better bonus.

25% vs 35% is a big difference at to hit bonus.

Remember epic armor is 35%, so u´d better have some good wpn, even tanks miss 1 or 2 per melee battle vs me (which is about 5 secs :p)
