I actually own three different copies of winNT4, and have a backup of w2gh3y [that refuses to install due to a known error that hasn't been fixored yet]. The only reason I want it is to play some games I have that haven't been ported to a unixalike yet, so it's an expensive gaming upgrade really.

well...neverwinter [no *ix client yet, but in full dev], morrowind, and some other stuff like unreal2 [untill the *ix client for that gets released]. I won't be using it for anything else tbh.

that's the prob. my copy of 2k works just fine, but crashes due to a strange bios thing that hasn't been fixored yet [afaik] by epox/award. perhaps I should just get a new mobo?
a new mobo would be less expensive than wXP and allow me to continue for a good time yet. I'm going to restart this thread in the hardware forum.

on the other hand, I could get a new mobo and XP! eee hehe now where's me wallet
