In April this year I got made redundant. Which was ok in a way, because I was sick of the job, and for the last year or so they hadnt paid any bonus, which meant my wages were low.

I then had 3 months off, which was ok, but obviously cost me money!

Then I got a job selling VW vans, which had potential, but unfortunately the entire sales staff had left a few weeks before, so there was no-one at all to tell me how thier systems worked, or anything at all. That lasted a fortnight, and I left.

So, emergency, I had to go back to my previous job, debt collecting, which was fucking tedious and, in this instance, not very well paid either.

All the time I'm still looking for a job selling bikes, which is what I do really.

Well, on tuesday I start at a Triumph dealership, at last, so wish me luck :D

Hmm, well in the strictest sense I guess I've had 4 jobs this year so I dunno about all this cant get a job stuff. I didnt want to go back to debt collecting, but I had no choice, I knew it was for a short period so I got on and did it. It got me through 4 months ok, and now I have a job I really want.

Hopefully it will work out alright, though in my experience you never really know until you're there.

We all need to work to live, but going to work shouldn't be soul destroying.

Glad you have found something you really want to do, but persevered with the others so you could get by

You reap what you sow, good luck

Well, at least I'm not a gun-owning Harley-riding debt collector any more ;)

gun-owning Harley-riding debt collector

Nice turn of phrase, I put it into Google Images and this was one of the first results:

Thanks Nath, it's appreciated :)

Have another woman-with-Harley photo for good luck :)

Spose it should be woman-with-Triumph now, but never mind ...

Yeah it's impossible to tell of course until you've been at a job a bit, but I'll give it my best shot :)

The people there seem to be car dealers that have expanded into bike, they've got 3 showrooms selling Triumphs. They're going to be in for a shock after a couple of months when they realised they've got me lol :)

But so long as I'm selling bikes I reckon they will be ok!
