What's the online scene like wrt to WC3 ?? I've been contemplating buying it to play online, but I don't really fancy playing WC3 vs 13 year old koreans all day...

Tis very good but very hard. I am new to playing games like this on-line, I'm usually a Tribes 2/Counter-Strike person. I am having no problems in the single player but when me and my m8 play arranged team games we get pasted!! 
But IMO it is well worth buying it!! One of the best games I have ever played!

It's Great. If you can take get pasted all the time.
In 1v1 I go Orc always and get owned by Night Elfs all the time can be quite zzz really because everyone uses the same tactic, I just cant defend against it.
Team games are always good, especially when ur not the first to get attacked and can walk in and own everyone with ur army :>
There's loads of mods for it, one of my favourites is "Tower Defence" which is basically a map, with a windy path to 'town' and you have to build towers on the path to kill the monsters before they get to the town That probobly sounds shit but its really addictive :>
It's probobly the only game worth playing since Quakeworld.
