Not Happy :(

I have just formatted my HDD due to a problem.

Well after installing everything I have installed BF. I went to DL the patch v1.5 from game.net and hey it DL! Great. NO! I went to install it and it came up with an error saying it was corrupt. Well I decided to give it another whirl and tried ot from another site, and wham the same!

Before I formatted my HDD I had the same problem with DC.

What am I doing wrong?

I assume you are getting the full 1.5 patch?

If so get the incrementals, either from the version you have (long time ) Or get the 1.4 full and then the 14 to 1.5 patch.

Tried DL v1.4 so I can go 1.4 -> 1.45 -> 1.5 And I got the same error!

Man its really peeing me off!

Hmmm if you've tried it from a different site, I can only assume its something your end messing up the connection part of the way thro.

I'm not 'up' on the whole connection thing, but it might be worth posting in the Hardware forum. Or possibly using a download manager.

I honestly don't see what the problem can be. You've tried it from multiple sources, using a multitude of ways to download the file. What you might wanna do is simply find a PC mag with the patch on and get it off there

One of my buddies had the same problem, I just burned a copy of the 1.5 BF1942 patch and DC 0.5 on to a CD and sent them to him, seems to have solved the problem.
