Seriously what the hell were FC thinking making POM/TOS healers and easily the best DPS class in the entire game?


For me it goes something like this:

Me: Hi got a space for a HOX?

Group guy: er sorry groups only need a guardian and the rest TOS/POM.


PVP? you probably get your first combo off but if you don't have a knock back or stun the POM is already charging up his knock back and will then proceed to nuke you into the next century by the time you get up.

TOS? root ya to hell and nuke ya 3-4 times = dead bunnys.

I can understand giving healers a way to solo play but their dps is way out of balance atm considering they can also heal and AOE the fuck out of 5+mobs solo.

Any game that has the healers/best dps mixed into one class is seriously wrong what is the point in a mage class again? seeing as the healers have better nukes?

It's easily to tell which classes are OP in any game when you see said classes all over the fucking place.

It's like Santamas(xmas) twice a week really. That's why i like unfinished prodcuts, that are finished enough to enjoy fully.

There is a problem with healers nuking more then mages, but then again, i wouldn't nerf nuking healers, i'd add some power to the single/cone blasts of mages.

You know, make 'em the magical rangers or some such.

What do you base this on, from my end game experience their dps is similar to casters at best.


Can just show you the past few nights group statistics to give you a slight idea, as what your writing is clearly not based on any hard facts..

Total dps from 2 nights in Oasis of Zaara and Aztels Fortress

Assassin: 28-30%
Conq: 20-22%
ToS: 14-15%
Demo: 13-15%
Guardian / DT: 11-12%
PoM: 6-10%

What level is your HoX mate? I ran 14 sanctum runs in the last week and there were multiple HoXes. On some runs I had even two in the group.

Annoys me how people expect it to be the best game in the world the day it comes out. I'm enjoying it. Patience is all it takes. I played the closed beta so i was used to conan in much more dire state though haha. PvP servers are a must in my opinion =P Nothing like griefing people with low level throwing knifes. Thou shall move slower!

By the way! Anyone on the server "Battlescar", Would love to say hi! hehe. Not in a throwing knifes in your back way though. In a nice way of course

I must admit I had serious doubts about AoC and had cancelled my subscription. I'm impressed by the apparent rate of improvement though and may continue to play next month as well.

You do get that its a pbaoe knockback, and the caster has to stand still to cast, so you can back out of it? Then the pom's blown his cooldown and you're still standing.

Why don't you just cave in and role a ToS or PoM if they are so OPed and uberalles :touch:

I'm 74 now and I done alot of PvP and I know all classes atm are very balanced and all are damn OPed in their own way.

Necros have retarded CC, roots, fucking pets that you cant kill ever, since they resists everything and they nuke through walls.

Bearshamans, impossible to kill since they heal too fast and got endless stamina to sprint with.

Guardians, too much defence, too much hp, does moderate dmg, if you stand to fight they kill you. When you damage them they go into defensive stance and health pot, gg.

Assassins do insane burst dmg, and can basically sprint for 5 seconds then vanish into thin air, GG killing them.

ToS, same as PoM.. do OK dps have spike dmg in form of insane crits, heals forever, can sprint and burn stamina.

Demonologist, do more dmg now, have more cc, and their skills aint bugged anymore, pain in the ass to face as of today, do okey AOE dmg aswell.

Conq and barbarian, chain knockback, decent dps from conq, high survivability, insane dps and chain knockback from barbarian, also have stealth and burst dps.

All classes have their things. Only OPed class atm is necros since their pets are bugged to fucking hell and they are so annoying...just 'cus of their bugged pets wich u cant cc, cant kill, cant hide from, cant run from, sometimes cant see.

Necro DOT is 2mins long i dunno which one it is but it's fucking BS when they DOT you and just run into a river while you slowly die you can't remove it and if you don't have any POTS you can't rest either so you die while the guy sends you dumb /tells about how much his class pwns etc etc

Sticking with my HOX tbh i like the class it's just ranged seems to pwn on this game atm ;/

@ Tilda the Root breaks as soon as you do damage ;/ and they cast their root WHICH don't break run and nuke you to hell atm.

Might roll a necro just so i can laugh at people when i give them the 2min DOT and watch them run around trying to get the DOT off them.

Sorry I meant pbaoe knockback, talking pom's.
Surely the simple cure for necro dot is to get a pot, then its useless. Its not like a tos which can just 2 shot people!
Necros are even more worthless because 99% of their damage is absorbed by hots or by the barrier things you get as a dm/necro
