Not a good week :(

My central heating boiler is about to die, £1200 to replace it.

The climate control in my car has gone haywire, and its affected the cooling system on the engine, so it has to be repaired (or the engine overheats).

Only 2 days work, not enough.

Realised another tax bill comes up in 3 months, and I'm overdrawn.

SHIT.

You think you've had a bad week? Jesus... you should have lived my last few years. I opened China, I made peace with the Russians, I ended the war in Vietnam and still they hate me. They look at Kennedy and they see what they want to be. They look at me and they see what they are. Now I'm about to be empeached over a two-bit hotel burglary. Well, fuck 'em. They're not getting my tapes. I'll resign, the bastards. :(

Our boiler's just died, the whole central heating system needs replacing. £4500 :/

The only good part is that with today's exchange rate I can say

"you just cost me six thousand dollars"

To British Gas

Weird, ours blew out the other day, strangely enough after British Gas had been out to do the annual service..... *hmmmmms* Luckily escaped major damage as it only charcoaled its circuit board.

/me wonders why so many boilers are fucking up in one week when it's sunny

Hey Stu, why not do the radiators and piping yourself, and get a local plumber to fit the boiler - British gas use sub-contractors, so they cost more.

Ahhh, the week just got better. While out riding my mountain bike, I tried to bunnyhop a kerb 1/2 second too late, and went over the handlebars. Grazed my elbow, and cracked the casing on the gear indicators.

Don't use British Gas for anything, ever. They're widely known as being the most expensive for anything. If BG have said your *entire* boiler needs replacing i'd get a second opinion from a local plumber tbh (tbh). However, that said - plumbing is easy, just remember that any of the gas parts (if you use gas) need to be done by a Corgi registered bloke (or at least get comissioned by one).

Hehehe Lester. :D

And if it's any consolation, my week just got a little bit better. Rather than having to move out by Tuesday, I now have until Sunday. Which is good, seeing as I haven't really started packing yet. :)

Speaking of boilers. We had 1200ltrs of oil delivered to home the other day, and they put 1500ltrs in, thats 300 free, cos we didnt ask for it, so we dont have to pay, so thats a bundle of cash in my back pocket. And with oil prices soaring, which means the company I work for are raking it in, its a double win.

YAY for me (and Mrs Wil) :D
