Time magazine has just named Bush as person of the year. :eek7:

Got nothing against Dubya he's just a whatever, bit dopey, riding the right wing fundamental Christian ticket, but person of the year!!!

Jeez you would think you'd need a PERSONALITY to get that one.

Think they have it spot on tbh, anyone that can get away with all his stupidity and mistakes AND still get reelected wholeheartedly deserves this award :p

Well, neither does socialism or communism in the sense that human nature always fucks it up in the end.

So what's next? Globalism.....

Maybe step back a few hundred years and let the Cadillac Church rule us and start another crusade. Or the Fuedal System  , real life guilds and lots of fighting.:D

The Fuedal system wasn't so bad, the only difference is we choose the person who fucks us up the ass and we pay more tax. ;)

Time's man of the year is the man who has made the greatest impact on the news in the past year - and that can only be Bush.

He's leading one of the most controversial and bloody conflicts of modern times, he has won a rather large electoral victory and has pushed the world's richest country into its largest deficit in it's history.

The other candidates.... I guess we have Suddam, who was found in a hole. Um, actually Blair and Powell might be worthy of it.

Bring in Homerism, where we all sit on the couch watching tv all day I say! Seriously though, Homer Simpson could run the US better.

Heres other award Bush should get:

Best Liar of the year.
Best Cover-Up of the year.
Best Halloween mask of the year.
Best Hide in my Shelter when the bomb comes of the year.
Best Be somewhere else when the shit hits the fan of the year.
Best use of Foreign Cannon Fodder of the year.
Best Make the sun shine out of my arse to voters of the year.

Theres plenty more, but Bill Clinton still scores the "Best got caught with my pants down" of the Year.

if we had rl guilds think of all the wars they'd be over who gets the cool name, it'd be like who gets to be mr black all over again, it'd be ears all over the shop.... mayhem... MAYHEM!!!

we got a squirrel outside our flat, he's been here since we moved in, he got a smaller tail than the rest of them and its slightly flattened, we call him the beaver squirrel...... cant he be man of the year? he is very cute?

VOTE FOR BEAVER-SQUIRREL!!!!

I think the problem is more or less lack of alternative choices for person of the year. Bush's impact on the world has been pretty large, and not much else seems to be going on.

So, yeah, he's man of the year...He's still a stupid lying twit. :kissit:
