we had 366 @ hibernia
661 @ albion
and 725 @ midgard!
So don't come here and complain about albion zerging ! =OP
This population test was done at 9 pm CET | Friday evening | So stop complaining! :]

Actually, anon is based on percentages ... example: If you got 1000 players online, and 10% anon, it's 100, if you got 500, with 10% anon, 50 are anon...
So, if Albion has 700 online, 10% anon, 70 are anon, Hib has 400 and 10% are anon, they got 40 anon, it's most unlikely Albion AND Hibernia will both have 70 anon, cause the 70 would be only 10% of Albion, but almost 20% of Hibernia. Simple? The more players you got, the more there are anon.

Well I kind of thought anon wouldn't work on a /who to see how many player's actually online - but still, if albion had 10% anon, we'd have around 700 players - if mid and hib had like 10% anon, they'd have a bit more than 1000 players... so I still see no point in that alliance, although I don't know if it's still active ?
kind of got bored of game quite fast cuz of the low population @ RvR at that time

and when did estat and finster join mid? thats some 2 weeks ago, then they told us that ther were around the double amount on alb when they did a /who (in general, not certain times).. I know most are greys etc etc, just enlightening and pointing out a few facts.

If now there is a zerg realm, this is Hibernia, I see it everyday I go to emain. As they have to travel to emain, they travel in longer and better groups, and they usually rush emain until stopped.
Albion had much greater population at the beginning, but not anymore.
Midgard is growing up very fast in numbers aswell, much more yellow cons in emain as before.

I checked population in Albion several times and never went up to 40% of total server.

well midguard has grown so might be right they got a larger population as we lost a lot of folks to them either because they got bored of one realm or felt that they can't dominate a realm as albion and tried midguard.
so i guess in about 3 months we should expect a rise in hibs when same folks feel tired of midguard or realise that midguard will not own it all and then move to hibs as a last resort.
still i like a balanced out force and hopefully those greys we got around will soon grow))

About the estimate of the number of people anon ..... the higher the percentage of high level characters, the higher the percentage of anons. Surely all those lvl 1x alt refugees from Albion can't all be anon in Midgard? Characters most likely to be anon are those on keep raids, and some healers (who go anon to avoid the rez request spam). If a realm has experienced an influx of new alts, I think the estimate of anon percentage would be lower than in a stable realm with fewer new alts.

In other words, I think only GOA can really give an accurate number for realm populations.
