Tbh i dunno what all the fuss is about really, only 2 games worth looking at is metal gear 4 and assassins creed , and ac is coming out on xbox 360 and pc, and metal gear isnt gonna be here till 2008 anyway

Its not about that at all though mate, I dont even want one, but if something that I was looking forward to was put back I would be slightly pissed. I would not blame anyone and I would just get on with it and wait, but I would feel a little gutted.

I always recall when I left school and started to work for Dixons, on the day of a new game or console release I would be the first one buying the item in the morning. For the rest of the day my mind would be on getting home and playing the item I bought.

Being excited at getting something new and gutted at being told you are going to have to wait longer is not a reason to look at your life and say hey I need to grow up. So I think you have it all wrong and for the first time I will ask you to stand off your pedestal

How many mistakes must the companies with money and think they lead the market make before they realise they CANNOT steer the market how they want?

Intel tried this before for example and nearly went bankrupt.

£425 price tag, they high price for a start isn't justified in the slightest, they've also been berating the 360, branding it as not the true HD console and such. What on earth makes Sony think they will win when the other two consoles coming out are HALF the price of the PS3.

Oh yes, I'd love for the Playstation fanboys to come up with a justified arguement about the price, the functionality, the Blu-ray format and so on. You're an idiot if you believe the PS3 will be successful.

Makes me so glad i invested in my 360 recently Lost faith in sony, which has taken quite a lot considering I paid £400 for my ps2 on launch day after Sony cancelled my pre order.

And now Rockstar is out of the five year exclusivity deal with Sony too, so GTA4 is out on ps3 and 360 at the same time

Yep.. which is an even better reason to simply go for 360 if you want an high end console. Only game I'm looking for on the ps3 is the FF remakes anyway, and like I already mentioned, I'd rather borrow a box for a weekend to get through em instead of spending like 400-500 quid.

A friend said that considering inflation the PS3 is only a little more than the PS2 was at launch. Don't kill me if thats wrong, i didn't check it and i cba to because i don't really care
