Hi all, been thinking of getting a DS lite

was tempted by the price. Is it worth getting?

Any decent games on it? Are the games hard to play with the stick? any other stuff you would like to add about it would be good.

I think its worth getting, there are a lot of good games available. I'm addicted to Puzzlequest at the moment. The games are all designed around the control system, so the stick is never an issue.

I just bought Pokemon Diamond - good fun so far I can see why it sold over 1million copies in pre-orders only in the US

Worth it? hell yes.

You will have to import games though to play the best of them really.

But what good actual games are there? Seems like the most popular software is either Pokéshite or Brain Age/More Brain Age/Super Brain Age 2 Turbo.

There is no region locking on the DS. Then again, I own one import game, and only because I couldn't be bothered waiting 2 weeks more for the UK release.

Trauma Centre is very very hard

And unless you have played a pokemon game don't knock them, behind all the cartoon crap and merchandise the actual games are very good with a solid rpg behind them.

To be honest I was a little disappointed after Dawn of Sorrow so I dropped it after completing it the first time.

No, I meant that Dawn of Sorrow was so good I felt a little let down by Portrait. It was still a good game just nothing new.

But they didn't make it as easy as DoS. Abbadon Soul + Chaos ring == pwnage.

2) they dont cheat. They're "snaking". Search for it on youtube It's quite hard to do, which is why so many whines about it.
