Nildram ADSL

Seeing as I can't get cable where I live I have just ordered ADSL
from Nildram (after hearing how crap BTO is). Does any1 know what modem comes with their service? (I'm just hoping it's not a crappy make like alcatel.

Do you not think that it's actually an ADSL terminator with a good track record and it's easy to use? Then again, BT are the people that selected it...

Quite possibly...then again, maybe not

It's a sort of 'Winmodem' of the ADSL world, requiring a fair amount of cpu cycles. Some users report a big decrease in frames per second in Q3 when using the 'frog', whether online or not.

I'm about to ditch mine and replace it with a seperate router, which is better for my home network anyway (don't have to leave my PC on).

I know a person who was on the trial and he found the Fuji gave better pings but the Alc gave better dl speeds.
