Nightshade spec

Had a spec for nightshade in mind, like this:

35+15 stealth
50+15 piercing
35+8 Envenom (boots etc)
39 CD+4
rest CS
:twak:

Give me responce as to why i WOULD'NT spec this way, and if there's any good point's on that spec... them too plz :touch:

good point is yer DB wil do more dmg 0o, but as a whole i wouldnt go that way myself, simply because CS styles have higher growth rates than all the otehr lines in the game. to not use these higher dmgin styles seems insane to me. i love running fairly high CD myself for the offhand hits, but would never spec out of CS. high CS good CD, as litle pierce as you can get away with (comp. 51) and some env. lvl to suit your playstyle (i use comp. 37 to free up points to put into CD, but many otehrs would scream fool and go at least 47)

Nightshades dun need stealth k ? it's usless line that givf's u nothin !!!!!!!!!!!!

Other than that go pierce. seriously wot's wrong wit u luri'z slash weapons are too heavy for you. + all the str lowering posions/methods used by the stealthers of the other realm ( Disease, str/con, Malice proc ) u could end up wit 80 str and hit like a little girl wit a teddy.
Pierce, instead of slash is all I can say.

P/S: my nerf, but aint 21 CS (for PA) and then 50 piercing (full DB chain) owned?? noticed that DB chain own'z PA chain, many time's tbh, so jsut have PA for start dmg and then DB for next hits etc, :p

Hamstring chain > db chain.

Wyrd spec is without a doubt best. 51 modified weapon(that means 51 skills including items/rrs, so 36 + 15 if rr etc) 50 modified stealth, 50 cs(imo, tho I've mostly played inf so could drop to 44 without the extra stat points) 50 modified envenom if you can spare the points, rest cd. Imo.

The growth rates of the db chain is: 0.87 - 0.87 - 0.96
The growth rates of the hamstring chain is: 1.15 - 1.33 - 1.32 - 1.40

the only advantage DB has over hammy is the stun componant..but then ofc you just do DB (stunned opponant) ----> hammy chain

EDIT: also unless im mistaken 21 CS for PA would 1. miss alot?, 2. reduce PA cap by something like 200-300 dmg as well as reducing it's dmg in general and 3. you would miss the follow ups to PA, Creepin death (which stuns, and makes warloc/any mage killing easy if you do it right), and stunnin stab, these also have very nice dmg.

or maybe im doing something wrong ;x

is my current spec. another one i always wanted to try (pre-wyrd) but didn't dare to because of low ws is: 50 cd, 34 cs, 34 blade, 33 stealth, 30 env. going high in weaponspec is very very useless tbh.. the styles aren't better than cs/cd and you get less out of speccing that than the advanced melee lines

Effect of not having +11 CS in template is that you will do less style dmg with CS style then with +11 in template. So if you mainly use CS styles, you will do less output dmg then with +11 in template.

Dont know how 50 CD is, never tried it.

There is a community just made for nightshades... sorry, made for infs and sbs nowdays aswell. Many of your questions can be answered there.
